3D/4D Bonding Scans from First View Imaging.
3D scans show still pictures of your baby in 3 dimensions. 4D scans show moving images of your baby, with time being the fourth dimension.
From 26 weeks you might consider having a 3D/4D Bonding Scan. This type of ultrasound scan will allow you to clearly see the unique features of your developing baby. You may even see your baby yawn or stick out it's tongue. 3D/4D scans give you an exciting glimpse into your developing baby’s world using the clearest and most advanced imaging techniques available. We are also able to confirm the sex of your baby but we can keep this area hidden if required.
The 4D bonding scan lasts approximately 30 minutes and following the ultrasound scan, you will be presented with a DVD lasting up to 15 minutes that you can take home and view again and again. Our 3D/4D bonding scans are clinically beneficial in the sense that they will look for abnormalities which may not be possible to detect with traditional ultrasound scanning techniques. Any abnormal findings will be explained to you, along with support in ensuring you are on the correct NHS pathway for ongoing care. Our 4D scans also include a full growth report which includes estimated fetal weight, position of baby and placental site.
Every attempt is made to obtain images but in the event this is not possible no refund is given. Good images rely on many factors such as fetal position and placental site and our Sonographer will endeavor to acheive the best images possible but if we are unable to see baby's face, we will consider the 4D complete if we are able to obtain adequate images of the hands and feet.
The scan costs £ 99 and you will receive 4D footage of your scan (lasting from 10-15 minutes), 3D still colour images on a USB drive as well as multiple thermal black and white printed images.
